DIY pumpkin carving with your doll

Hey its Rylee! Today I am going to be showing you how to carve a mini pumpkin for you dolls. Honestly, I think these pumpkins are so so cute because The pipkin itself and the seeds are mini! Haha, anyway I hope you enjoy!

Here is a list of the things you will need:
Mini Pumpkins(I got mine from Walmart)
Bowl
Carving knife(Or any knife that will cut a pumpkin)
Spoon
Drill
Diffrent sized drill bits(I got mine from my dad)
Battery operated candle

One thing that I want to quickly mention is that when I finished my pumpkin, The candle didn't fit because the pumpkin was to small, So I just didn't use a candle and just used it as decoration.

So the first thing you want to do it carefully, using you knife, Cut around the top of your pumpkin, just like you would with a big one except you have to be carful because the knife will go all the way through you pumpkin and come out the other side so just be carful (You might want a parents help for this part if you are young)

Then using you spoon, scoop out the pumpkins innards(AKA the seeds and slime) into a bowl.

Next decide what drill bit you want to use. You can decide on any size you want to and drill any design you want to on your pumpkin. I am doing flowers on mine, so you just want to take a small bit and drill a hole any where in your pumpkin. then drill 5 or 6 smaller holes smaller holes around it.

Then you want to make lots of little flowers all around on your pumpkin.

As you can see, the candle didn't fit, so I just used it for decoration without a candle which, still looks cute!!

As you can see in the picture above, I did different sized holes on my big pumpkin and then on the other side that is not shown, has flowers on it.

This makes a adorable fall decoration for your dolls room/house!

Here is a picture of my pumpkin.

Tips:
Be carful to not push the drill in to fast or not  carefully because like the knife, It could easily go right through the other side or bottom.
If you are young, make sure to have a parent help you!
Make a mental not that you should not pull hard on the stem of the pumpkin because it can come off. If it did come off, You can glue it back on after your done carving it.
Try searching safari or pinterest for pictures of" Pumpkins carved with a drill"for Lots of cute ideas!

I hope you enjoyed reading this! If you have any requests for posts you would like me to do please leave a comment and let me know! Hope you all are having a great fall!

Fair Isle Pajamas: A Review

Hello,
I'm terribly sorry I didn't get this review up earlier. My family and I were out of town this weekend and we got back later that I had expected. Anyways, here is my review of the Fair Isle Pajamas:

To start off, I think they are adorable!

The shirt is long-sleeved and has a curved hem.
It is wonderful quality, but snags easily

It is thermal knit and has cute little
embroidered snowflakes.

I love the pattern on the leggings.
They scrunch a bit when tucked into the slippers

They seem a little baggy to me

The slippers fur lining is very soft, but the
cloth footing is very thin and cheap.

The outfit also comes with one ponytail binder.
I'm not sure how to review a ponytail binder :)

Rachel loves her new pajamas! What are your thoughts?
Later in the week I will do a comparison between the Polar Bear Pj's and the Fair Isle Pj's

AGP Minneapolis Oct. 2014

Hello,
Today (Thursday) I got to go to the American Girl Place Minneapolis to check out their new release! I love some of their new items, everything is better in person. I'm sorry for any pictures that are a bit blurry - I was in a hurry to get out of peoples way. Here they are:

If you were wondering, yes, I did get something . . . I got the Fair Isle Pajamas. I just got the one item because I had just been to the AGP last month and got stuff then too. I knew I was going to get these pajamas before the release even came out and I saw the sneak peaks. I love them and will do a review on Sunday!
