Our Generation Outfit Review

Hello!

For Christmas I recieved this super cute outfit from Our Generation. It is called Jeans Can Come True. It was found at Target. I think it was around $13.

Here it s on Lilly! The outfit comes with a jean jacket, white tee shirt, an orange polka dot skirt, redish orange shoes and an orange flower hair clip.

What I don't love:

I'm not to fond of the slit in the jacket. It is helpful when rolling up the sleeves though.

The hair clip is super cute but won't stay in the doll's hair. The little green part of the flower sticks out to much. I'm going to clip off that little green part and use hot glue to either re-fasten on the clip more securely or put on a new clip all together.

I am used to the American Girl shoes and I like them alot better. These shoes are plastic and like to fall of. Also, they don't really match the skirt

I decided to try it out with AG cowgirl boots. It looked wonderful!

Here is the outfit without the jacket.

A closer look at the jacket.

A closer look at the skirt, which by the way, is a little bit big on AG dolls but still fits just fine.

Isn't Lilly pretty?

The complete outfit with the new shoes!

I hghly recomend Our Generation outfits. They are very cute and much cheaper than those of American girl. I hope this review was helpful!

Fun Find

Hello,
The other day I was going through an old tea set and found this super cute doll sized mixer!
Isn't it cute?

Felicity LOVES to cook, so she thought she should test out the mixer. She suggests to pull back your hair, putt on an apron, roll up your sleeves and get baking!

Try looking around your house for doll sized items. You never know what you might find!

Christmas Pictures

The other day I was playing around with my camera trying to get my flash to work for a dolly christmas photo. One of the pictures turned out PINK!

I'm not quite sure how it happened but isn't that cool?
I never was quite able to make the flash work but here is one of the best pics:

I hope your Holidays are as colorful as mine are!

Hairstyle Tutorial - Ponytail Veil

Today I am going to show you a super cute hairstyle that is really easy to do. Hailey is our model today, she loves doing gymnastics and this is hairstyle works great for sporty girls. You can even pick colored hairbands to cheer on your facvorite team!
Okay, let's get started!

You will need:
A doll hairbrush
Elastic ponytail binders
A misting bottle with water (optional)

You may want to lightly mist your doll's hair with water to help remove tangles

Then brush your doll's hair free of tangles

Next take your elastic hairbinders and make some small ponytails across the top of your doll's head. You can do anywhere from 3 - to as many as you would like. Here I did 6

Then starting on your left side take the entire ponytail all the way on the left and combine it with half of the ponytail next to it. Then take the half that is left over and combine it with half of the ponytail next to it. Repeat untill you have half of one ponytail and the ponytail all the way on the right, combine those together. You should now have one less than you started with.

Contine combining halfs until you only have 2 pontails left. Now it is decition time . . .

You can combine the 2 ponytails together to end up with one,

You can combine all of the hair together and finish it off in a ponytail, or

You can put it all up in a bun. These aren't the only possibilities though, the options are endless. Feel free to send me pictures of your hair style creations at the e-mail address under the contact page.

"Ta-da" says Hailey, she loves her new gym do'!

Fun Facts: Hailey's gymnastics outfit is part of Mckenna's practice wordrobe

I hope you enjoyed this fun hairstyle. Have a good week!
