Downy for Dolls

Hello,

So, like I said yesterday, I tried using downy fabric softener on my doll's hair. I put a little but in the bottom of my spray bottle and filled it up the rest of the way with water. For more information copy this into your URL:

It turned out wonderful. Afer I did it I put Lilly and Felicity's hair in rollers and tried twisting Rachel and Hailey's to bring it some curl. The twisting didn't work so well but the rollers worked excellent. (see below)

After; beautiful curls!

Give Downy a try if you have a chance!

Tricky Technology

I'm so sorry that I didn't post a couple days ago like I said I would, but my camera ran out of memory space, so the only pictures I can use are ones that I have already taken, which isn't very helpful. I have alot of fun post planned for Febuary though focusing around the Olympics and Valentines day. I also have a really big (literaly) and fantastic craft planned, if I am able to go out and get all of the supplies that is.You are probally thinking Febuary?!? Don't worry, I am going to post again before febuary, I just can't wait for it to arrive. Anyways, I just tried using downy fabric softener on my doll's hair to make it smoother and shinier. I don't have pics, sorry, but you will just have to believe me when I say it worked really well! My dolls currently all have their hair in rollers or twisted to try and bring some curl. This is an experiment especially for Rachel whose hair is short and straight. If you know of a way to curl straight hair please comment, I would really like to know of a good way! Well, if you are still reading after me rambling on for so long, thank you! I hope you have a good rest of your weekend!

DIY Super Sleepover!

On New Years Eve Felicity, Lilly, Rachel, and Hailey decided to have a sleepover in anticipation for the new year. They have a few basic tips that would like to share with you on how to make sure your sleepover is super. I also added in a super easy DIY sleeping bag that will take just a couple of seconds to complete. Let's get started!

The girls decided their are 4 "F's" of Sleepovers. The first is Fellowship.Take some time to sit down and chat about what is going on in your lives.
The second is Food. The treats shown above are rasins, M&M's, peanuts and doll sized gummy bears.

The third is Fun. Try playing a game or to generate a fun atmosphere. This doll sized Hello Kitty playing cards deck was found in the Target dollar section.

A puzzle is a great idea too. This doll sized Strawberry Shortcake puzzle was found in the dollar section at Target.

The forth F is Film. My doll's and said goodbye to 2013 girl of he year Saige by watching "Saige Paints the Sky" late on New Years Eve. It acctually ended just a couple minutes into the new year. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture. So, a movie is a great sleepover activity

Now for the craft: DIY Easy Sleeping Bags

You will need a pillow case and doll sized pillows

Simply silip your doll into the pillow case, and fold the extra fabric at the bottom under your doll. Place a pillow under her head and you are done. A pillow case can easily fit 2 dolls side by side.

For one doll, fold the sides of the pillow case inder her as well as the bottom of the case
